email

i am getting 2 emails with the same message at the same time. i am running
windows vista and using window email for my email. how do i stop getting 2 of
everything?

Do you only have one email account setup?

By the way... all the Windows Mail gurus hang out in:

microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail

thanks for pointing me in the right direction. i dont know if i have more
then one email set up. i am new to vista and i am not the only one using this
pc. i never use to get 2 emails but now i do.

Go to the WM Tools menu>Accounts>check if you have and remove any duplicate
of your account.

Try using Thunderbird instead.
