Lost all my desktop files

I recently lost all my Vista desktop files, i can see them in a folder called
"Desktop, yesterday", when I try to drop a file back onto my desktop it asks
if i want to over-right the same file. So the file is there but it isn't
showing up, i chnaged nothing but i have been using foldershare for a few
weeks.

You can’t run a Windows Service with Interactive Desktop support
if you want that service to access the Internet; Windows won’t let
this happen. So this means you should never click the service
properties checkbox to make Foldershare interactive with the desktop.
