PC freezes after inactivity

My PC freezes after inactivity. I need to force it down. When I start up
again it works fin as long as I am moving.I run Vista home premium 32
bit

Anyone who can help? Thanks a bunch.

does it go to hibernation or sleep mode?
try installing the latest video card driver and then change the power
plan to high performance.

absolutely. change the power options.
do not turn off the hard drive. this is likely what is causing your
'freeze'.
avoid sleep and especially hibernation.

Let your display go blank if you're not at the machine for a couple minutes,
and if you're away for more than a couple hours, turn it off.

I am not MS, but did do tech support for a couple of companies.
