Partitioning on 64 bit

Would someone please tell me what software can partition using
the 64 bit os?

Vista, under Computer Management --> Storage --> Disk Management.

Hi Mike,

Use one that can a) operate outside of the OS and b) can handle Vista's
implementation of NTFS. Two that I know can are Acronis' Disk Director and
Terabyte's BootIT NG.

Thanks and I decided to you help and found that I needed
to "shrink" the volume and then wait for a format. It was painless
and easy.
