Huh?

That would be the first time I've ever heard of a sound card causing a
BSOD during a game.

It's definitely a hardware problem, but my bet is that the sound card
is dead last in any consideration - if it's being considered at all.

LOL, look at the internet, its full of blue screen stories and creative
drivers.

If you need proof, play Age of Conan, you won't last 20 minutes without
BSOD until u remove your xfi card and then you won't get any bsod.
Explain that...

Goes to show you how little I know! <g>.

I'm not a gamer - don't even play Windows Solitaire - so I probably
just overlook any items relating to sound cards and crashes.

All the BSODs started after i updated my sound card drivers, and
installed age of conan..

What should i do though? my creative sound card is built into my MB :/
should i look for some 3rd party drivers?

Boy do I feel for you. It has now been 5 days since I uninstalled my
SB and I have not had a single memeory leak or bsod or grey map in Conan
at all! I can reach no other conclusion than Creative and Conan and
vista 64 do not mix.
