Doing what?

If this was meant as a follow-up to an earlier message, be aware that
none of us knows what you are talking about. Please, in the future,
remember that you need to *reply* to the older message, not start a
new thread. You also need to quote the message you are replying to, as
I did above.

Next would be to run System Restore in Safe Mode... restore to a point
prior to the installation of Dosbox.

RE: good, but how?
Start>Programs>Accessories>SystemTools>System Restore.
Put it back in time to before the date you installed Dosbox.
If using Norton anti-Virus, disable it before doing a System Restore.

And to get into Safe Mode, tap F8 right at Startup; from the list that is
presented to you, use the UP arrow to go to Safe Modet, then hit ENTER.

(snip)

Mick, I realize that you and Nonny have a little spat going on but putting
that aside, there really is no way to know to what the OP is replying if
one uses a newsreader as Nonny does (Forte Agent) and I do (KNode). You and
the OP are using the web interface (why, when it's so dreadful?) and the
rest of us are not.

So although I disagree with Nonny's tone to the OP, s/he was correct in
telling the OP to 1) stick to the original thread; and 2) quote some of the
previous post.

Re: good, but how?
It IS his tone to the poor posters that I am sick of, Malke!
And if he/she can not remember a couple of hours prior, well, he/she need
help!

And if he/she can not pick everything up from Newreader, maybe Web Interface
DOES have its benefits.

Marion, I have no problems with the web interface; personal preference.
But, that does not override his/hers attitude.

One of his/hers replies:
If you do as fine a job reporting on your research as you've done
reporting on your problem here (virtually NO information!), it won't
matter... you're gonna flunk anyway.

Another:
If you're serious, you should back away from your keyboard and never
return.

Go buy some crayons and see what you can do with those without hurting
yourself.

A real gem:

It looks as if you lack the intelligence to use it even if we pointed
you right at it.

Have a read Marion, and see if you want he/she to post here!

Want me to post all the crap (again) that you've dumped on folks the
past two months - not including the crap you've posted to Shane or me?

You KNOW I've got it. ALL of it.

I won't bother. You're a complete pain in the ass, and even though I
enjoy poking your drunken ass now and then, I've grown tired of it.

Into my boob-bin you go

Re: good, but how?
You hate the truth about yourself; and I have it all!
You are an idiot, loser and a liar!
And you never came here to help anyone; just to be a smartass; and you even
fail at that!
You are old, boring, and out of work!
Go and get as job; 65yo is too, too young for you to retire!!!
Get an interest in life; instead of annoying people here!
