difference between 'Enable write cache ' & 'Enable advanced'
Please can any one explain what the difference is between Enable write
caching on the disk and Enable advanced performance for the policies setting
on hard disks.

I thought Enable write caching on te disk, enabled write caching on the
disk, so what does Enable advanced perfromance do???

The Advanced Performance setting is a more aggressive write caching
that stores a lot more info in the cache, especially on a SATA disk with
16 MB cache. Obviously, the potential for data loss or disk corruption
is greater in event of a power disruption to the computer.
