responses gone to the wrong threads.

Lately some of my responses ,and responses I received had gone to the
wrong threads. What I worry about is that someone would take that as a
response to his/her question (which was not supposed to be ),and
subsequently got the bad advice, and I felt responsible to it. Can
someone from this Forum check into the matter ? Thank you.

Re: responses gone to the wrong threads.
The forum you are using simply posts and slurps from Microsoft's public
newsgroups. There are no moderators on this end.

This is Usenet, not a forum. You're using some sort of web interface that
scrapes Usenet posts. Use a real newsreader instead and you won't have
those problems. It's very easy to set up. Standard instructions:

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.

There is also a continuing problem with these Microsoft discussion
groups or with WLM itself. I will post a reply and the post I have replied
to will show that I have replied. Under Storage folders, Sent items it will
show my reply and the fact it has been sent. Nothing remains in the outbox
so I know it was sent. However, my reply never shows up. Day after day after
day goes by and nothing happens.
I assume it will be corrected sometime in the future. In the meantime I
don't worry about it.

Apologies if this inadvertently insults your intelligence, but are you
clicking Reply Group (and not Reply)?
