drop down list everywhere

about 1 week ago, I started getting drop down menus all over the place..where
ever the cursor passed over..anytime I changed web pages..now I can't change
websites if a drop down menu is displayed..what can I do to fix this? Is it a
virus?

My guess is spyware. Run your AS program(s).

Spybot Search & destroy; one of the best anti-spyware programs.
Save to your desktop, install, update it, immunize your system with it, then
scan your system for spyware.

If it can't remove it all, reboot, hit F8, go into Safe mode, scan again and
remove spyware from there
