memory dump
for windows vista home premium, which is best recommended for its three (3)
file debugging and informatoin, small memory dump (64kb), kernel memory dump
or complete memory dump?

cant seem to find relative info on windows help and support unlike with
windows xp pro/home where 'small memory dump (64kb) is best recommended;
kindly advise soon and any good feedback is much appreciated;

The default is 'kernel memory dump' so it is best to leave it at that. Small
memory dump will probably not give much debugging information, anyway. As
for full memory dump, the problem with his is time. If you have, for
example, 2GB or more of memory it can take considerable amount of time to
write the contents of the memory to a .dmp file. At the same time it is
going to take a while to upload the contents to the Microsoft server. I know
broadband is quicker now, but don't forget that large files being uploaded
will eat into your monthly allocation.

In the 20 odd years I've been using Windows I think I have only ever been
asked by Microsoft to upload a full memory dump once. That was back in the
days of 'dial up connections' and it took literally hours.
