VIsta ultimate slow startup

Im sure this has been dealt with, but i have brand new lenovo 3gb ram, 160 gb
7200 rpm hard drive, lv7700 (core duo 1.8 ghz), and it takes 20 minutes for
vista ultimate to load up.

HELP ME!

basically what happens is that thinkvantage screen comes up and then screen
goes black for 20 minutes and then vista screen shows up and then its only
about a minute until all is done. after that computer is lightening
fast...until i try and restart. have tried disabling everything.
whats up?

Hi,

Is your machine joined to a Windows Domain?. If so, check with the admin
on the logon script. Otherwise, make sure that there are no spyware trying
to load on startup.
