resizing secondary windows in Vista

When I click on "print" and the printer options box comes up clicking "on
properties" brings up what I will call a secondary window with advanced
printer options. This so called secondary window is larger than full screen
and it is impossible to see or click on the buttons at the bottom of the
window. Is there any way to resize these windows. The same thing has happened
on other applications. This has been an issue ever since the upgrade from XP
to Vista.

Any help would be appreciated.
