Ultimate Complete PC Backup no longer recognising internal HDD

I have two HDD's and have backed up to to my secondary drive without problems
including restores. I installed SP1 RC1 (first public release) and then did a
system restore after deciding that I didn't want to continue using it.
Complete system restore brought up an error regarding a missing file. With
much frustration I re-installed after deleting and formatting both volumes in
Vista setup to start fresh, however Complete Backup will now not recognise my
second hard drive as a legitimate backup device. It is seen in device manager
and works as it should, but not regarding backup. Can anyone shed some light
on what has happened here and how I might correct this issue.
