Resolution Problems

When I bought my computer and hooked it all up, everytime I went to play a
game, I would get this window that pops up all during the game that says I
should change my resulution to...... It also has a (1) To change resulution
and (2) Close window or something. I can't get this window to quit popping
up. My resolution is set at what it says. Can anyone help me get rid of
this window for good?

Your resolution might have been set at what it says in the Monitor pop
up....but that was before you started the game which is NOT playing at that
resolution..........look for settings in the game itself.

Hi Tammy,

This message is coming from your monitor and not your PC. It simply
indicates that the resolution has changed and is not the optimum for the
monitor. It can also pop up at regular intervals as a reminder if your
monitor supports this function. Check the instructions for your monitor as it
is possible to suppress these messages so that they do not appear in future.
Having this notice if it only pops up when the resolution is initially
changed is OK, but to have it keep popping up at intervals is extremely
annoying, and so you would be best to disable it.
