lost display on monitor
i have Vista home basic running on my pc. For some reason, i suddenly lost
all display, except for the mouse pointer that i can move about on a black
screen. CTRL+ALT+DELETE produces the task manager, whereupon i type in
explorer in the start new task which produces display. Can anyone help with
this ... please?

Re: lost display on monitor
Hi,

So obviously something is interfering with the explorer shell. What is
happening or what are you doing when it happens? Does it occur immediately
after logon or after running for a time? Did you install any new software or
program updates prior to this happening? Tried updating or reinstalling
display drivers?
