Question about mirroring volumes
Hi,

I've just built a new system with a 500GB Samsung SATA drive. I've set up my
system volume to use 60GB. I also have a 160GB IDE hard drive from my old
machine. Is it feasible to mirror my system volume to the IDE through Disk
Management, or do they
both need to be SATA?

Also, my motherboard (Asus P5B SE) supports hardware RAID, but I believe
that would only work to mirror entire SATA drives with each other.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: Question about mirroring volumes
Not a good idea - speed when equate to the IDE disk.
