I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to speed up my login. I have
Windows Vista: Home Premium (32 bit) on a stand alone HP Pavillion dv9000
series and here is my problem in detail. OK, my computer boots to logon
screen and I login with my administrator account. After that it takes about
15-20 minutes to completely load all settings, services, and necessary
applications. When all that is done I am able surf the internet, open files,
device manager....etc. I believe that a service is running when it shouldn't
because of my ignorance of changing services settings. If someone could email
me the default settings for the services or have any other ideas I will
greatly appreciate it. My email is
