iTunes help. I need a "network resource"
Hi. I'm using a 32-bit HP vista and I'm the administator. I'm trying to
reinstall iTunes because it said something about how it wasn't going to
cooperate with the registry or soemthing and i need to uninstall it and put
it back in. I'm trying to do that, but when I reinstall, i get a pop-up
saying:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder
containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below."
and then on the bottom half in a combo box:
"Use Source:
(in the box) C:\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\IXP691.TMP and
C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\Installer Cache\iTunes 7.1.1.5"
I tried to call Apple but they said that I needed to ask Microsoft because
of the "network resource". Please.
I need help. I'm going on vaca and I NEED my iPod for the long trip. THanks.
