Deleting, moving, copying
rWhat is wrong with windows vista?

Every time i try and delete a file vista gets stuck, it carries out the
requested task but the estimated time window stays promonent and will not go
away. The only way i can get round it is by going into the task manager and
click "End Now". This also sometimes happens when i move or copy someting
and even when i try an create a new folder. These are some of the most basic
tasks a computer user needs and vista gets stuck. Is there a solution to
resolve this matter

Please help

RE: Deleting, moving, copying
Install hotfix 931770 ! Microsoft has issued a fix for ALL versions of Vista
that should correct the problem. However the hotfix is NOT publicly
available, and you need to call PSS and ask for it. For more information
click

The copy process may stop responding when you try to copy files from a
server on a network to a Windows Vista-based computer - 931770
