Sytem Restore error
My System Restore is not working it states "An unsecified error ocurred
during sysem restore" As I have only just purchased it and there are no
important files installed I decided to return it to factory settings as per
the norm with XP!
But there does not appear to be this option on Vista if it is there, can
someone out the tell me where? while I still have some hair left ! ! !

First look at some of these System Restore solutions from MVP Bert Kinney:

MVP Bert Kinney on System Restore - http://bertk.mvps.org/html/vista.html
Problems caused by Symantec - http://bertk.mvps.org/html/symantecdoc1.html
System Restore - Error Messages in Vista -
http://bertk.mvps.org/html/eerrormsgsv.html
Missing Restore Points/Shadow Copies in Windows Vista -

If you still want to return your computer to factory condition, refer to
its manual or look on the computer mftr.'s tech support website for how
to do it. The ability to return to factory condition has nothing really
to do with XP or Vista; the restore process is provided by the computer
mftr. and differs from mftr. to mftr. and even from different models
from the same mftr. So you will need to look up your method as suggested.
