does Acronis image give me a fresh install should everything go wrong?

I backed up my laptop with Acronis trial and want to check if this is a true
image that will be a compelte backup?

If you performed a full disc backup it should contain the exact contents of
your drive at the time the backup was performed. You can open True Image, go
to Operations>Mount Image and this will mount your backup as a virtual drive
and then you can browse the files and folders to view their contents.
