Pc Problems

I bought Vista Ultima 2 days a go ... i installed the os .. and after ... a
couple of minutes.. the sistem .. freezes ... whit out any response .... of
the keyboard or ... hard drive .. and i don`t understand this behavior whit
my pc i have a Amd Sempron 2800+ whit 768MB of Ram ... when i run dvd movies
.... in full screen freezes .... when i run media center ... same thing ..
after a 3 minutes .. Can someone help me whit this problem? thanks.

I have a AMD sempron 2800 and tested the vista with the adviser from
microsoft.com and it resulted in an analysis of OK but a message "AMD
unknow processor". To me this is a warning indicating that vista
might not give the best result if not a dual core microprocessor.

i myself have only had report that i needed a dvdburner, i do have a amd
3500+ (2.2 ghz) Single core and on random moments (though with high network
traffic more)
it freezes/hangs only hard reboot works. so either its a driver thing or
some bug still inside vista.
