stability of PC after upgrade

My mom's a bit concerned about me upgrading to Vista because she fears the
notebook I want to upgrade would become unstable. How often does this happen?
Remind me if an issue like this crops up.

Hi, if the notebook is good and stable and your mum is happy with it, why
are you forcing a un-necessary upgrade on her? Leave it alone is my
advice...
