What is saved?

Exactly what files are saved in the Vista back up program?
IE- Favorites, windows mail, mail rules, fonts, web sites,
desktop?
Or do I need to find these & save to a disk.
I just completed a full backup- my computer is messed up.

What was backed-up depends on what criteria you set when you backed up, which
program did you use?
You say you PC is messed up, if it is badly "messed up" maybe you should
consider doing a 'system restore' to the point prior to back up. (You did set
a restore point).
As you are aware, backup does not remove items/ basically it just copies them.

At this time- my computer wont let me do a system restore far enough
back. I tried to go to Oct., no go. The more recent ones have not
helped. We believe that a program labeled Vista ready, that did not work
on my computer, has corrupted the registry files.I usedthe Vista back-up
program that is loaded on the computer. Pray it works.
It will not shut down, (yes- I tried the patch, didnt work) & when
starting up you can eat a meal before it finally loads.
I have turned into one of those people computers hates- enough puter
knowledge to be dangerous. ROFLOL
