volsnap and recent failed net framework update
Looking in the event viewer, windows logs, system:
I am having a warning
source volsnap
event ID 57
Task Category (2)
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may
occur.
This warning repeats every 5 seconds.
Looking in the log it started at 12:11:49 PM today, at 12:11:51 I had an
Error:
Source WindowsUpdateClient,
event ID 20
task category Windows Update
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with
error 0x8007002: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.
I have installed the service pack by following instruction to manualy
install from the download files area, which seems to work.
The every 5 seconds snap warnings have continued thru two restarts. (gaps
during the restart obvoiously).
Something seems to be messed up here. Any ideas???
Thanks,
Michael
