Windows freezes at start-up

I turn the computer on and it will freeze at the Vista Home Basic load up. I
have to reset several times before it finally gets working. I have updated
the drivers on my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 6200, I got them through
NVIDIAs site) and updated Windows. The problem still persists. Any
solutions?

Yes, have a technician identify and replace the hardware component that is
failing. This is fairly typical of a power supply or motherboard failure, or
even of faulty memory.
