New published updates
Microsoft windows download center; >
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/R...displaylang=en

published a pile of compatibility & reliability updates on Oct. 23, but
these don't show up on windows update. Anyone know why? Is it a case
that they wait til patch Tuesday to put them out?

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

Re: New published updates
Hi,

Microsoft publish to the download center first and then when they are happy
there are no problems they will release them to Windows Update. This is
usually a few weeks later either on patch tuesday or a fortnight after patch
tuesday.

Kinda what I figured. The public is the QA branch of MSFT. I'll wait.
