These problems came out of nowhere and all started hitting at once.
Upon start-up, several programs shut down, Windows media toolbar and apple
software to name a couple, and Vista is unable to find solutions as to why.
I can't seem to update any programs, including vista, firefox, itunes,
quicktime, etc.
I've tried to contact Microsoft, but when I attempt to get my PID by right
clicking My Computer and going to properties, I get the message 'this page
failed to load'.

I've had this laptop, bought new, for two months, vista home premium came
pre-installed.
I can name all programs that shut-down upon startup if needed. Thanks for
any help.
