Highly unlikely that the culprit can be identified due to the techniques
involved in masking the originating point. Responding to it is pointless as
well, except to continue carrying on the original message. It was reported
shortly after arriving here and all over the rest of the public servers, but
keep in mind these are not moderated groups.
