wmplayer.exe is eating a lot of resources
My configuration is 1,3 GHz Celeron M and 1536 MB RAM. I have 3500 music
files of 6,5 GB in my Music folder. Wmplayer.exe is time-to-time (sometimes
even several times a day) eating cpu to 100% and also disk. System
responsiviness is low until I kill it. Also I left the computer several
nights on to let it index all files (and they are indexed) and I left several
times wmplayer.exe unkilled eating resources during night. I also tried to
delete wmplayer's music database. However still it goes mad in whiles when I
use the computer (ie. one minute after restoration from hibernation - when
system responsivenes is low even without wmplayer.exe). If I use wmplayer for
playing something, the problem is more frequent.
I have automatic updates turned on. I reboot the system randomly in periods
from few hours to several days. I have english Windows Vista Business. Aero
is turned off (and also unavailable for my comp). Windows Search is running
normally and correctly. If wmplayer isn't mad at the time, it plays correctly
with cpu usage of about 5-30%. I have turned on Windows Media Player Customer
Experience Improvement Program.

Thank you for fixing it! I would like to use windows media player as easily
as any other with no such resources eating.
