Every time Vista Start or restart after welcome screen, there will be only
mouse appearing on the screen black background. Waiting a few minutes(over
5 min) the system will be normal. if i set a new explore.exe, it will be
turn normal fast.



vista home basic
2G Ram
1G Turba
Cpu 2.2GHz

Hi,

Run msconfig from the search line, put the system in diagnostic mode and
reboot. Does the delay still occur? If not, then you can move to selective
startup and begin re-enabling loading programs a few at a time until the
delay occurs again. At that point you will know what has been restarted and
causing the delay to occur.
