msiltcfg.dll error
Recently I started receiving multiple error messages when Vista Home Premium
is loading--all to do with the file: msiltcfg.dll (the message is
generic--stating that the file is either corrupt or does not belong to
Windows). As a result of this new error, I can no longer open many programs,
including Word, Powerpoint, etc. I have tried using the Vista OS disk to
repair my computer, I've tried system restore, sfc \scannow, hardware checks,
etc., but no luck. I also tried (unsuccesfully) finding this file on free
..dll download sites. Dell customer service keeps telling me to reinstall
Vista but I would like to avoid such a drastic solution. Any advice on how
to fix this error? Or at least tell me the purpose of this file or why I
might be having this error?
Thanks
