Reformat after installing Vista upgrade
I want to reformat after upgrading to Vista, I have two external hard drives
and a external DVD burner. Can I unplug them before reformatting and after
completing reconnect them again. One is used for backups and the other is for
my media.

RE: Reformat after installing Vista upgrade
Hi Jim,

If you are using the upgrade version of Vista then please refer to my post
'Clean Install Windows Vista Using Upgrade Media' in the newsgroup 'Windows
Vista Installation and Setup'. You will notice that I recommend that all
peripherals be disconnected and that you should also disconnect from the
Internet whilst you carry out the procedure. I also recommend that you do
this if you are using the full version of Vista. When you have safely
installed Vista, you can then reattach your peripherals one at a time and
reconnect to the Internet.
