bad score ... please help

good day everyone
maybe you cane help me with this.
i have a (asus) p5n-e sli mb with a (intel) e6320 = 1.86 ghz 1066mhz
fbs (o/c) to 3.00 ghz
and NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (256 mg) and (pny) 2gb ddr2 /667 (o/c) to
800. the thing is my score
in the windows experience index gave's me a score of only (3.6) here is
a break down
5.6
5.9
3.6
4.4
5.9
i have updated the drivers for the video card but still can't get a
better score ?
does this score look right or should it be better then this?

Hi:

IMHO your score it is pretty good. Now a days MS score from 1 to 5, been 5
the top for these days. Your video card is doing a 3.6. I have doubs that
you can get more with a better card. I think you wold need to spend a good
deal of money, maybe just to get a few tenths. And just keep in mind that is
a score from MS, not a performance one. Just enjoy your "Vista" experience.

scrooge relax! - computer running okay? do not sweat the index, which is not
cumulative or an average and subjective at best and reflects the lowest
index - majority of times it is the video and gaming stuff. Max posssible
index is 5.9.

My view is to forget about the score. I wish Microsoft had never made
such scores.

Are you happy with your performance? If so, there's nothing to be
concerned with. If you're not address the area where performance is
poor and see what need to be done to fix it. It has nothing to do with
scores.
