Blue Screen of Death whenever I start a game

The subject wraps it up nicely. I read the thread where the guy would get the
BSOD after booting up ShadowRun, but for me, it's any game I've tried. Any
thoughts?

And I've recently found out that it's not only video games. I tried
installing some drivers for a Netgear wireless adapter and it gave me the
same error.

The error I'm getting is the infamous
nv4.mini.sys

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Stop: 0x00000050

though the support page for vista has nothing about it.
