I have my network set up and I can see my shared files whenI go Start>
Network> (here I can see my router, desktop (XP) and Laptop (Vista)). I then
click on desktop icon (I am using laptop which is wireless to try and access
file son my desktop which has a wireless router attached to it) and I can see
the shared files from my desktop computer (the ones I have ticked under the
dhare / security option) when I click on the file to open i get an error
messgae -
" \\DESKTOP\LETTER is not accessible. You might not have permisison to use
this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out
if you have access permissions.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command."
Now the file I am trying to view (which is called Letter) is only a text
word document - so should have nothing to do with not enough storage???
Any help would be appreciated.
