Advanced Network Services Stopped Working

I am running Vista 64-bit Home Premium. I often get an error box stating Advanced Network Services has stopped working. I've always ignored it because I don't have a network setup. Now I want to set up a wireless network for streaming video to my TV. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this problem?
