RE: BT Voyager 2091 -help
You don't need any software to set up the router. Plug the Ethernet cable
into the computer and the router. Open a browser page and type your router
address into the address bar. It will be in the manual and it's something
like 192.168.0.1.
When the page opens look in the wireless section (or similar wording) for
SSID name and WEP or WPA key. It's these two pieces of information that are
needed to connect wirelessly. They will either be present or you will have
to set them up. Now try a bit of surfing to make sure you can access the web.
Unplug the Ethernet cable and connect wirelessly via Start, Connect to or
right-click your wi-fi icon in the system tray (I can't remember the exact
wording as I'm on an XP machine at the moment). Key in the SSID and Key and
you should connect to the router. You may have to change to 'Never dial a
conn...' in Internet Options, Connections Tab.
