Network Communication
Hi,
I just have a question. I have a laptop running Vista and a desktop running
XP. The laptop is hooked up to a wireless network with the desktop. I just
want to know, is there a way to communicate between the two, but NOT using
the Internet, just the wireless network connection?
Thanks.

Re: Network Communication
Sorry, let me be more specific. I want to send messages between the 2
computers. Is that even possible? (Not using an Internet connection.)

Again, Sorry, and Thanks!

What do you mean by "send messages"? You really do need to be specific
here, as it appears you are not talking about sharing or moving files
between the two systems. What kind of "messages" are you talking about?
Instant Messenger connections, perhaps?

Look at using the 'net send' command.

Re: Network Communication
Are you sure it was removed from Vista? That's too bad. That's what I
wanted...I think. How do I use that? Is there a program I need/have that I'm
unaware of?
