3G add hoc network

Hello,

I have a 3g modem card, which i can surf of without a problem, i am
traveling a lot, i would like to connect my ipod and or xbox to my vista
portable 64 Ultimate.

I have tried to setup a ad hoc network, which i can make my ipod
connect to my vista machine but i not route out of my vista machine.

I have allowed the 3G connection to be shared, via the proprerties,
allow other networks use to connect through this computer internet
connection.

from my portable i can ping the ipod, and the ipod i can see is
connected to my portable.

I guess that i am going something wrong somewhere.
can someone point me in the correct direction
thanks
t:cry:
