I Cannot connect to amy Microsoft Site or Log on to certain Bank Websites

Hi,

I reformatted my laptop and reinstalled Vista Business, SP1.

I can surf the net and go on to websites like google and this one, but
i cannot connect to any Microsoft site or log into MSN messenger and
worst still cannot log into certain bank websites.

When i do a tracert to microsoft.com, below is what i get

I am running spybot and Symantec, so no infction issues.

Try disabling Symantec and Spybot. Maybe one of their settings is
blocking certain connections. Check the Internet Zone and Internet
settings to make certain nothing is blocked.

Hopefully, if it starts working, then you can try enabling things one at
a time and maybe find the culprit.

Thanks. I did disable all firewall and protetective software, but to no
avail.

Any other ideas?
