Network Printer not working

I just purchased a new laptop with Vista Home Premium and have it networked
to my w2k Pro desktop. At first the desktop printer was workign fine from
the laptop, but now it stopped working. Any idea what might be going on?

You might want to check out the following discussion:

For me, I had to go into the router and assign the printer to a static IP address... you might want to try that, since for me, the printer would get 'lost' if the router assigned it to a different address.

Many Vista printer issue can be fixed by adding it as a local printer fist
and then remapping it as a network printer. this link may help.

OOPS!!! The printer is not working from the attached desktop. Printer is
out Time for a new duplexing all-in-one printer. Any suggestions?
