Lost Internet after Vista Ultimate upgrade

I just upgrade my ne PC to Vista Ultimate and cannot connect to Internet.
Prior to upgrade internet worked.

Upgraded from what, XP, or another version of Vista?
1. If using a router, check for updated vista compatible Firmware.
2. Check for latest Network adaptor Drivers.
3. In your Network Connection>Right-click> Properties> unbind TCP/IPv6
4. In Device Manager>Network Adaptor>Right-click> Properties>make sure it is
enabled

thanks ... the upgrade was from Vista (entry level version).
