People Near Me

Hi both my daughter and I have Vista with 'people near me' signed in. We
have trusted contacts,

The first time we set it up we were able to see each others \public file
directories, now we cannot. We don't even see who is signed on. Can you
help please.. Thank you

Can you ping each other by IP?

not sure if I replied back correctly b/4. But, I am not sure how find the
IP address', Can you tell me where to find that? thank you very much
