My network stops
Hi,

I've got a network at home. 3 Computers are on it, including this computer
with vista (the others have xp). The problem is, that every 1-2 minutes my
internet goes off and on. I have this in games, but also when i browse on
internet.

I checked that the computer can't turn off the thing, becouse of energy
save, and that is off. So it's not that.

Anyone has some ideas?,

Thanks.

It could be compatible issue. Have you upgrade the driver or firmware for
the NIC and router?

Re: My network stops
Hello,

Mine was doing the very same thing.. seems like my cordless phone was
working around the same frequency as the wireless modem. If you have a
800mhz cordless phone get it away from your router. Then after I did that
about 2 months later it started again. found out the neighbor went and
bought a 800mhz cordless phone. since then the neighbor has moved away and
have had no other problems. hope this helps//
