thanks, bu No, this didn't seem to help. My problem is that the system seems
to think everything single network file is in use.
I have found some information about enabling "opportunisitic locking" in
WS2003, and the network admin assures me that it is set up correctly. In
addition, ANY network file I use, including windows 2000 server folders on an
old server act the same way...
????
