Using mapped drive

I have mapped the drive on my Vista Business laptop, drive F:. It is located
on my Server 2003 computer. I can see, copy and do anything I need to
except: When installing programs on the vista laptop and directing them to
the data on the server 2003, the dropdown boxes list every drive but F:
drive. This happens even when installing a program that is located on the F:
drive. The dropdown box list A:, C: D: and even my usb drive G:, but not the
mapped drive F:. Any suggestions?
