Email issues

I am having significant issues with email reliability. Did not experience
any before owning computer with Vista. I use a POP3 email account provided
by my company that is forwarded to outlook. Random emails in and out of my
account are not going through. We attempted to find a pattern, and have had
no luck. Trying to find SOME connection. Is anyone experiencing email
problems with email using Vista?
