vista and xp npt seeing eaach other

hi i am still having problems my vista can see my xp but wont allow me to see
into it. my xp cant see the vista at all someone plz help i am about to throw
this computer out the window. both com connect to the router and to internet
but not each other

If creating the same username of XP on the Vista, can you access XP from Vista? More troubleshooting can be found here,

hi thanks finally got it working . is it normal for the computers to drop off
every now and again and not be able to see each other and then other times it
can. ????
