PEAP connection help!!!

i am trying to log on to my schools wireless network using PEAP (EAP-MSHAP
v2) after setting everything to the requirements that were provided the
network will not let me log in, it does not accept my username and password,
the ONLY instructions/help they offer is for xp, does anyone know if
anything was changed with the security settings on vista? if so any advice or
help? my user name and pw are correct, and the network administration are
unavailable.....
